Are dictionariesimportant?

Do you prefer abook dictionary or digital dictionary? 

During the timeI prepared for IELTS, I used a Longman English-mandarin dictionary nearly everyday, because I had to check out the definition and pronunciation of some newwords. By the way, I also use the Chinese dictionary now and then for someidiomatic expression. 

Certainly,dictionaries are indispensable in language learning.

Personally, adigital dictionary is better. A digital dictionary is often more powerful infunctions including the pronunciation in both British and American accents andexample sentences from the internet database. Compared to it, a book dictionaryis always to heavy to carry and less efficient to locate a word.
