A conert hall

The place for listening to music I’d like to talk about is the Beijing Folk Music Concert Hall, which is the most influential music place for Chinese folk music in China. It’s housed alongside the Changan street, and only 2 kilometers away from the Tiananmen Square. It was built about ten years ago and renovated in 2010.

The whole place has two halls, and one is larger for 3 times than the other one. The more spacious one is used to hold large-scaled performances for it has a huge stage and auditorium where the audiences sit. Basically, this hall can accommodate nearly 300 people. In each year, about 200 performances are held here, and most of them are so popular that people have to book the tickets at least two or three weeks ahead.

The last time I listened to music there was about three months ago when there was a concert of my favorite singer ………
